Customer Rating: Summary: Works like a charm? Comment: I bought this cable to download pictures from my Samsung SCH-U340. It was the best price I could find online BUT it doesn't come with any software so be prepared to find that for yourself. I found the driver I needed on samsung's site. After I downloaded that and rebooted I could connect my phone to the computer with ease. The cable fit my phone just like it said it would. Next I needed some software to recognized my phone. So I downloaded BitPim at PitPim[...]and followed their directions. A little complicated but had excellent results. So now I am up and running and have no problems with this data cable. While although it did not come with a cd, it is a very high quality cable for the price. I could not have asked for anything better, even from the manufacturer. I also used bitpim as an interface, and it worked well. If you are looking for a high quality cable for an extremely low price, look no further. Would have just sent them to the phone via pic msg but my u340 no longer had service ... so i just looked for a data cable, found this ... and only 83 cents!!!! cant beat that so of course i buy it :) got it in the mail hooked it up DL what was necessary ... and could NOT get it to work ... did a lil searching only to find out that the u340 has no way of transfering files to a pc/laptop ...... WEAK SAUCE ... so if your looking to transfer pics like i was from your u340 to your pc ... save yourself $4,the hassle,the disappointment \ and send yourself the pics to your new phone or email address ... wish i had :( Customer Rating: Summary: Amazon.com takes care of it's customers Comment: I misunderstood what this product was to be used for when I purchased it.
