It's the real deal and lower in cost on here than other places on the web I looked. It was shipped in a timely manner and came right to the door as promised. It is lightweight, easy to mount and operate and, most importantly, it is powerful enough to move the canoe along at a brisk walking pace when loaded with three adults and a dog. I have used the motor up to two hours continuously on a single charge without noting any decrease in performance.
