Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed Comment: This case will not fit my Iphone. Cannot get it to click and close. So I don't even know if it works. Just holding it together with my hands didn't give me any better signal. RETURN...... Customer Rating: Summary: Don't expect miracles, but it does work. Comment: I ordered this product on the off chance it might actually work. Well, I can tell you it does help. I have tested it in many areas where I have had little to no signal in the past and the phone stayed connected with a signal about 70% of the time, which is a vast improvement over dropping my calls. HOWEVER, a dead zone is still a dead zone. This isn't a miracle, just a relay for the signal for where you cover up the antenna at the bottom of the phone with your hand when talking. If you buy this with realistic expectations and understand it helps prevent, not cure every dropped call, you will be pleased. Customer Rating: Summary: Five stars if you exclude looks Comment: This case completely altered my iPhone experience- so much so that I bought an extra one in case something happens to the original. As an early adopter of the iPhone, I was dropping every other call and couldn't figure out why my phone would fluctuate between one and four bars every three seconds. At the time I wasn't sure whether it was the phone or AT&T's service, but it got so bad that I nearly stopped using my phone entirely. I've since learned that the antenna is at the bottom of the phone and my hand was blocking reception. This case directs the antenna's reception upwards, where it should be. Since purchasing this case, my reception is 200 times better. Out of the dozens of cases out there, this is the only one that brings something new and worthwhile to the table- why else would you detract from the phone's looks?! Customer Rating: Summary: DO NOT EVEN GIVE IT A CHANCE - really. Comment: You'd hope that it will work for you, in your area of town, state, or the country. But buying it, trying it, declaring it garbage or reselling it to some other poor unwarned person, and that's not nice... Is just too much of a hassle. This item has no appearance of function, what-so-ever. IT IS a protective case. But with the dongle thingy, it is more obtrusive than other protective cases you can find.
