Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect way to reduce the number of power bricks you carry Comment: If you have devices that use both the "mini" USB charger (older Motorola & Blackberry phones) and "micro" USB charger (newer Motorola and Blackberry) this is a great way to reduce the number of power bricks you have to carry around with you. I bought two of these - one to use for traveling, and the other in the little front drawer of our Pottery Barn "charging station" so I can charge both types of devices from the same tip when at home. The little lanyard is a mystery to me - not sure the purpose, but the build quality is very good and the price is certainly right compared to the cost of an additional charger. Comment: Having just migrated to a Blackberry, using micro-USB, but still retaining bluetooth (and other) devices which use Mini-USB - I wanted to be able to use my plethora of mini-USB chargers with the new Blackberry. I figured I could spend perhaps $30 for yet another car charger at the Verizon wireless store or buy one of these. Since they were so cheap, I bought 6 of them to share with family. Shipping was the killer though at about $12. Still compared favorably with buying a new charging cable though. Note to LG and other manufacturers of devices with micro-USB ports: Please ship these adapters with your products! The vendor shipped this promptly and it arrived within a week.
