We chose to make his Pikachu costume out of a yellow sweat suit and top it off with this hat. I painted Pikachu's stripes on the sweatshirt and my talented step mother-in-law made the pants out of matching yellow fleece. She also made the tail that I painted and pinned on to the pants. My son loved this costume. The hat topped it off perfectly!! He got to wear the costume to 4 different costume parties, as well as trick or treating. The hat kept his head warm on our cold Pennsylvania trick or treat night. He absolutely loves it! He said he wants to wear it for the next "hat day" at school! I love that he loves this hat! The costumes that came w/ a "hat" type mask were very flimsy & the "hats" were not well made. So, I bought a costume w/ a regular mask & then bought this hat for him to wear instead of the mask. This hat is much more durable & better quality. He really loves it & it fits well, w/o sliding off his head or being too tight.
