Customer Rating: Summary: It works. Comment: OK, maybe I liked my Motorola KRZR a little too much. I really LOVED that phone. And then I lost it. Yep, could have killed myself. But, I had to get a new phone and I got this one.
The first thing it did was pinch me when I opened it. You have to be careful of that. The volume buttons on the side of the phone are in a bad place. I keep screwing up the volume when I talk. The same buttons adjust the ring volume, so I have set my phone to vibrate on more than one occasion, missing calls. The screen is also smaller, and I found the KRZR a little easier to navigate. I also liked the size of the KRZR. This phone seems clunky.
This phone does get the job done, but I expected more from it since it was made by Motorola. Somehow, it just feels cheap.
I am looking for another KRZR, but Verizon doesn't seem to have those anymore.
Customer Rating: Summary: I wish I had gotten the enV2... Comment: When it was time for me to upgrade, I saw this phone and decided that I needed it because it was cute and purple. I wish I had waited. While it is a snazzy phone, the reception is not as good as my older phone. I also have to charge it daily. I do a lot of text messaging and this works on the battery. Also, the battery gets even lower if I text a picture. Speaking of sending a picture, the camera quality is horrible and it takes a LONG time to send. I wish I had utilized some patience and waited to upgrade to another phone. It might have only cost my 19.99 to upgrade but I would willingly pay six times that to get a phone I enjoy using. Only 11 more months to go until I can upgrade again.
Customer Rating: Summary: gets the job done Comment: the reception isn't as good as my old w385 but other than that it's a good phone. can't beat the nice purple color. all I needed was a phone that made and recieved calls. I don't want it to play music although this one does but I don't use it. I hardly use the camera either. It's got good ring tone choices so I don't have to buy any. I miss my w385 which this replaced when I accidently sent it through the washer and dryer so I'll keep this one.
Customer Rating: Summary: nice phone - works great Comment: this phone works well for me.
adding address, sending txt msg, etc - all in easy way
sound is loud enough for phone and speaker phone.
only cons - 1) the quality of speaker phone - but what can i expect from cell phone
2) when turn on the sound after putting it in vibration mode, the volume of sound is 1 or 2 (out of 5). i didn't notice it initially, so didn't know/hear when someone called me. i have to manually adjust the volume from 1,2 to 4,5 whenever i changed the mode from vibration to normal.
