Keep in mind however it will take time for software developers to catch up with Snow Leopard, many are still making 32 bit software, Snow Leopard will future proof your system to take advantage of 64 bit. I updated 3 systems with no issues, even did one remotely over back to my mac. Some things seem a little faster, I know my macbook pro runs a little smoother. if you are on the fence, buy the upgrade and wait for 10.6.2 to be released I think Apple will have the most annoying bugs sorted by then. Time machine backups are MUCH faster, this alone makes it worth buying IMO. In short at the price you can't pass it up. We have four macs at home so that's why I decided to purchase the family pack. It loaded fine without issues.
