Summary: Would be more helpful if it were correct
Comment: I'd want a game of this type to contain accurate information. But looking ONLY at the sample screens (4th picture) on the Amazon.com listing page I see the item "Match the century to its ending year" and it shows 20th century ending in 1999, 17th century ending in 1699. These answers are not correct. The ending year of the 20th century was 2000 and the ending year of the 17th century was 1700. Now if that doesn't seem right to you just think about the first century. Was the last year of the first century 99? No, a century is 100 years, so the first century ended when 100 ended.

And yes, if you are looking back, the world made a huge fuss when the calendar turned from 1999 to 2000 and everyone (well, not everyone!) called it the Y2K and Millenium. The second millenium ended at the end of 2000 not at the end of 1999.

So how accurate is the rest of the "information" on this game?

Summary: Learn and Play
Comment: If you are looking for a game that encourages thought and gives your child an opportunity to learn while having fun, this is it. I got this for my 9 year old at Christmas. Although it is not the first game he picks up to play, but he does enjoy it. I will encourage his to start, but he is the one that continues to play it for long periods of time. For him the title sounds too much like school to make it his first choice.

Summary: Cute- now if only they play it
Comment: This one is trying to be educational - I will give it that ...but maybe that's why the kids wont play it

Comment: This game was purchased for my seven year old daughter. She likes it. It seems a bit difficult for her but it has SO many options and So many learning opportunities.
