Summary: The Best Deodorant (Not Antiperspirant) I've Tried
Comment: I've used Tom's, Crystal Body Deodorant Stick, Terra Naturals, Le Stick Natural Deodorant, Kiss My Face and probably others and this Arm & Hammer deodorant is the best. It is not an antiperspirant, but a deodorant. I chose to use it because of its ingredients: aluminum and paraben free, although I'm not sure about the "fragrance" ingredient containing phthalates; it does contain triclosan. The other deodorants I've tried did not have effective scent control, but this one is much better at that. I recommend it.

Comment: Deodorant products containing aluminum ceased to work for me, and I was frantic to find an effective deodorant. This product is fantastic. I smells wonderful and works great!

Summary: Finally! One that works!
Comment: Like many people, I have SUPER sensitive skin. I had tried every natural product out there and they all failed me before the end of my work day. I eventually gave up and went back to using traditional anti-antiperspirants, thinking I would have to put up with the burning, itching, and swelling my whole life. This product came out and I was hesitant to try. But it worked! I was shocked that it worked so well. My husband would always catch me sniffing here and there, because I couldn't believe that I didn't smell. I have recommended this product to three coworkers, who all love it. After four months of using this product, it still works as well as the first day (unlike the crystal deodorants). I highly recommend everyone try this.

Comment: I had been using the Thai Crystal for years, but out of nowhere it started causing me a lot of irritation--AND it seemed that its longevity effectiveness was waning as well. I actually switched to the highly rated Ban roll-on for a bit--which is certainly effective and non-irritating, but it has all those scary ingredients . . . and it is pretty gloppy going on.
I was extremely surprised at how few effective alternatives were out there!
I finally searched out (because of the reviews here) and found the Arm and Hammer Essentials locally (not easy.) I really, really love it. No irritation, and it actually seems to be MORE effective than anything else I have ever tried. Period. I am a VERY happy customer so far.
If you are extremely scent sensitive--this "unscented" deo does have what I consider to be a faint orange/citrus thing going on--but I found to be not at all unpleasant, and it dissipates pretty quickly.
I didn't purchase it here because I didn't need or want 4 sticks without knowing if I liked it. If A&H Essentials ceased being available locally, I would have no issue stocking up on it here now.
