Customer Rating: Summary: Forbes should stick exclusively to business articles and leave out the politics Comment: Forbes should stick to its strengths as a business magazine and leave out the politics.
Pros:
As a business magazine, Forbes does an excellent job at delivering succinct articles about business, economics, and stocks. In each issue, the magazine devotes a large section towards dispensing advice about money and investing.
Cons:
Forbes needs to leave out the political commentary and opinions out of their magazine. In recent issues, the magazine has been bashing the Obama administration. If Mr. Forbes wants to express his opinions then write for the National Review, or the Atlantic, but leave politics out of this business magazine. As a liberal, I found it frustrating to read the ideas and opinions section that included political commentary supporting conservatism, bashing liberals, and accusing Obama's policies as socialism.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Hindus Comment: This book was listed as "new" and while it was, it had one of those annoying marker marks across the edge on one side. Why would anyone in their right mind do this to a hard cover book? Misleading of the supplier and presumably below Amazon's standards.
Customer Rating: Summary: Forbes Is Boring Comment: I am not a professional investor, but I decided to give Forbes a chance. I have found the magazine to be pretty boring and dry. I like to read more about what is happening currently in the stock market with individual stocks and this magazine has more articles in it. I found that a lot of the articles couldn't keep my interest. Would recommend getting The Wall Street Journal or Smartmoney before Forbes.
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't waste your money unless you're in the top .01% income and a Right Wing Conservative... Comment: I am a middle of the road Independent and a solid middle class worker, and this magazine has absolutely nothing of interest to me. Total waste of money.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love the Mag........however Comment: The subscription came in a month, which is super fast. After reading my first issue......I've come to the conclusion that this a magazine for intermediate to advance readers. Not that much focused on personal financing.
