Set in the weeks after Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance: Retribution follows the story of former British Marine, James Grayson. After a personal tragedy ¿ he is forced to kill his own brother inside a Chimeran conversion center ¿ Grayson goes on a vendetta to destroy every conversion center he can find. Eventually Grayson learns that his efforts have been futile... in Western Europe the Chimera have evolved a new method of converting humans. The European resistance ¿ the Maquis ¿ enlist Grayson's help, and he joins Cartwright and Parker in Operation Overstrike. The war to retake the European continent has begun.

Customer Rating: Summary: Fun shooter for PSP Comment: I normal hate the shooters on the PSP that use the buttons to look around but by them putting the bracket their to assist you with aiming has helped this game alot. Its well made, voice acting is good with a descent storyline. I'm not finished playing it to the end yet but it has been a good enjoyable experience so far.
Customer Rating: Summary: Same engine as Syphon Filter Comment: It's just like Syphon Filter, and the online multiplayer is identical. Good news if you liked Syphon Filter, there is no learning curve and you can instantly do well in the game and online. Kind of lame if you are looking for something new, but still fun.
Customer Rating: Summary: good game Comment: good storyline, great gameplay...thought it wasn't long enough, but that could be because it was so much fun i didn't want it to end.
Customer Rating: Summary: A great side story Comment: The only complaint I have is that there are some cheap deaths from time to time. Other than that, I think everyone who's enjoyed the series should givethis a try.
Customer Rating: Summary: Resistance Retribution: Revenge is sweet!!! Comment: Let me start by saying I normally HATE games where you use the buttons as a substitute analog stick. That being said once I got around that I was sucked into this surprisingly significant entry into the Resistance series. The story takes place in between Fall of Man and Resistance 2 but if you own resistance 2 plugging your PSP up to your PS3 yields enormous advantages resulting in the infection of your character giving him the ability to regenerate (even better than Nathan Hale) plus New Weapons, Added dialog and the ability to use your dual shock 3 to control the game(although unless you have the AV cables for your PSP this may not be worth doing).
The story is worth playing through the entire game and the game play doesn't make this feel like a task. The missions are laid out to give you a constantly progressing level of challenge and advance the plot nicely. Each battle ends leaving you with a satisfying feeling of accomplishment that is uncommon amongst PSP titles. Topping it all off is a mature rated yet thoroughly entertaining dialog riddled with British accented Bad-Assery that will cause occasional uncontrolled outbursts of laughter. Graphically It's what you'd expect from a psp title. Nothing to write home about there however the scenery is undeniably akin to that of Resistance: Fall of Man so much so in fact that you may forget that they're not the same title at times.
Summery: Great Weapons, Intriguing story and plot twists and PSP infection via PS3 equal a MUST HAVE for any PSP shooter fan or Resistance fan-boy...
