Comment: My only complaint about Kreg screws are that they are expensive for screws but they are top quality so you get what you pay for.
With that said this is a great buy for two reasons. First you get a nice assortment that on there own are a fair bit cheaper than if you bought them in the standard 100ct. packs. The second is the case they come in is exceptional quality and design, and I'm a designer so I know. It closes tightly and locks securely and on the inside the screws are in a separate tray which I believe, not only makes it stronger but also helps keep the screws from getting out of their individual bins and getting mixed up. Throw in the fact that you get a great price with Amazon and this makes it a perfect buy for anyone just starting out with the Kreg pocket joiner system!

Comment: I'm one of those guys that loves to DIY. I'm no expert cabinetmaker, but have quite a bit of experience making simple cabinets, boxes, etc. I've had been using biscuits for my joints; no more. Simply put, this is the easiest to use, slickest, fastest tool I've ever used. It is nearly impossible to screw up an edge or corner joint if your wood is cut clean and square - just make sure to clamp the adjoining components when you shoot the screws into the pocket holes. Buy one - you won't be disapointed. JLR

Comment: You will try to invent new things to do with this once you get it. I have found it to be one of the first things I grab when building and fixing woodwork around the house. Put the drill bit in one drill and the driver bit in another and you will speed up the process. I was even able to let my six year old help with assembly. This thing is easy and works.
If you are working alone, make sure you have a few clamps to hold things together. The Kreg clamp is useful for holding the jig in spots during repairs. So you might as well buy at least one of those. Buy as assortment of screws, then find the kind you use more often and buy the economy size of it.

Comment: This selection of screws worked well and helped me to get started using the Kreg fixture that I purchased. I found the kit helped me figure out which sizes I used most often and then provides a handy storage container that can be refilled. I am glad that I bought this kit.
