Twilight is an action packed, modern day love story between a vampire and a human. Bella Swan has always been a little bit different and when her mother sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. Then she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen, a boy unlike any she's ever met. Soon, Bella and Edward are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, and he doesn't drink human blood. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for: a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. But what will Edward and Bella do when James, Laurent and Victoria, the Cullens' mortal vampire enemies, come to town, looking for her? This is the first movie from the book series from author Stephanie Meyer. The series are currently some of the most popular books written for young adults, with sales exceeding 50 million copies worldwide since the Twilight debut in 2004 and over 7.7 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. The fourth book in the series, Breaking Dawn, was released on August 2, 2008 and sold over 1.2 million units on the first day.

Spotlight customer reviews:

Customer Rating: Summary: Wonderful CD! Comment: What can I say? As a fan of the books & movies, the soundtrack(s) are a wonderful addition to any collection. The "score" to Twilight is also amazing!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Soundtrack! Comment: I love the "Twilight" soundtrack. Of course, it includes the best songs from the movie, but also works really well as a stand-alone album. The best tracks on the album, in my opinion, are "Supermassive black hole" by Muse, "Spotlight" by Mutemath, "Decode" by Paramore, and "Tremble for my beloved" by Collective Soul. These are all up-tempo and rock. I think the songs fit the movie well, especially their respective scenes. My only requests for this album are to have Rob Pattinson's other song "Let me sign" included, especially since it was featured very prominently at the climax of the movie; and I would have liked to have "Clair de lune" by Debussy as it is the only piece of music ever actually named in the Twilight novel as well as in the movie. The only other change I would make would be to move "Spotlight" to the lead off track since it has a built in introduction in the music and would have fit better at the beginning of the album instead of in the middle. All in all, I love this soundtrack and listen to it repeatedly.
Customer Rating: Summary: Twilight Soundtrack: A MUST HAVE! Comment: This is a great soundtrack. All the songs are perfect for the movie and for Bella and Edward. Even my 9 year old daughter loves to listen to it. She asks for the "baseball song", song #1 on the soundtrack, everytime she gets into the car. This is a great buy and worth every dollar.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love it! Comment: I personally loved this soundtrack! Exactly what I imagined Bella and Edward's songs would sound like. Even my 4yr old son loves listening to it in the car!
Customer Rating: Summary: Super massive soundtrack... Comment: The Twilight soundtrack rocks... a perfect acoutrement to the movie. I am a huge collector of soundtracks, and this one fits the bill- every track is worthy of note. Not sure what happened between this soundtrack and New Moon's, but the new one is awful. If you were looking for an equally great soundtrack from the second film, don't bother!
