Customer Rating: Summary: Skip the vaccine, take this Comment: This is a far superior way to minimize the impact of flu season than by taking horribly dangerous vaccines or the poisonous Tamiflu. Stock up Customer Rating: Summary: Sambucol tablets Comment: I have been using Sambucol tablets on a daily basis for over ten years, ever since I came down with a horrible flu that immobilized me for weeks. I have never had that experience since, and I attribute that in part to this product. However, the last order that arrived, six months' worth of tablets, though marked "new improved taste" or something close to that, does not taste improved, though clearly "new". The berry flavor seems mostly gone, and the taste is more like peppermint than anything else. I hope this does not change the effectiveness but am disappointed in the flavor. Sure, you can take a concoction of chemicals that will mask some of the symptoms...but why mask symptoms, risk your health, and agree to all the happy little side-effects when you can just have some good-tasting Elderberry syrup? The study was specifically for Sambucol (brand name), but other Sambucus (elderberry) products may work as well.) Natural, no side-effects, cheaper, kids will take it (it's pretty sweet; almost a juice flavor, but thicker), no risk of OD - and it works!
