I had only put the two together to play fetch. I needed a book that could help me with the very basics and give me an idea how to get started. This book coupled with the websites mentioned was the right book. There was a bit too much time spent on author's history and some other subjects. Also demo photos should be done with contrasting backgrounds to the subjects. You'll get the idea, but too much distraction. Might be just me,because I am also a photographer. The book is very well written and loaded with useful information and amazing photos of disc dogs in flight. What a cool sport! This book offers a great introduction to canine disc sports and is an enjoyable read.
