The only reason I would replace them is when new models come with much better features. This model works flawlessly, easy to use and easy to clean. Heats up fast and steam works as it is supposed to. Comment: I am a guy, so ironing is about as low on my list of life-love's as it can possibly get.. and fortunately, I don't have to wear a lot of dressier clothes for work, so the need to iron is fortunately not ever-present in my life. However, it seemed a bit archaic not to have one and there have been a few occasions where I really did need one, so this iron came into my life at just the right time. I like it because it's sturdy and well-built, it's fairly idiot-proof (i.e. with safety features that will prevent me from tipping it over/forgetting it's on and burning my house down). It really glides across fabrics and makes ironing as easy and enjoyable as is humanly possible. The best iron is still either my mom (Thanks, Mom!) or my dry cleaner, but this is the next best thing! Customer Rating: Summary: quality product Comment: quality product at a reasonable price. i bought this iron to replace a costco rowenta product and was surprised. this iron has the weight and the feel of a rowenta unit at half the price. i like the led screen and the only knock is that it takes a minute to heat up. Customer Rating: Summary: Good replacement for my Rowenta Comment: Loved my more expensive Rowenta but the electronics suddenly died after a year. This less expensive replacement seems to be working well after two months' use. As other reviewers note: filling the reservoir while the iron is in working position is awkward and results in spills unless you use a funnel or very small stream of water. Other than that, all-temp steam feature is great. Customer Rating: Summary: second choice Comment: This iron is ok - but only ok. It's very heavy with most the weight being on the back end of the iron. The "nose" end of the iron is not pointed enough if you are a seamstress. It irons fine, but is cumbersome.
