Summary: Almost Perfect
Comment: I am really pleased with this product. I work outside in the weather often with this case I dont have to worry about a light rain. This is the best water resistant case I have seen. The only negative comment I have is the holster does not secure the phone case very well. A clip at the top would help. My phone has fell a few times because my movement has popped it out of the holster.

Summary: The Otterbox Iphone cover is great, but.....
Comment: there is a strange water-mark that moves around under the screen protector. I found a blog about this at [...] and a youtube video on ways to correct the defect. I followed the instructions on youtube and have solved that problem but the screen now looks a little dusty. I may now buy an anti-glare screen protector to go under the screen protector.....????? which is what most recommended on the blog at otterbox.
No problems other than this.....

Summary: Look Out--Almost a Great Design
Comment: This case is extremely well designed, with a plastic exoskeleton then covered in rubber. This protects the phone from drops very well, which is lucky since the holster for the 3GS is determined to occasionally launch the iPhone off your belt and onto the concrete. I called Otterbox about this (mid Nov 09) and they confessed this is a known bug for the new 3GS. They are redesigning the holster to hold the phone more firmly, and expect the new design to be out in early 2010. They're nice people who want to take care of their customers and even offered to send me a new holster for free when it becomes available. But, unless you are willing to risk your phone hitting the ejection seat about once or twice a week, I would wait for the redesign before buying.

Summary: Great Case, Poor Screen Cover
Comment: This case is great at protecting my iPhone 3GS but the oil spots are driving me crazy!!!!! Having to put a dash of baby powder on the screen cover every 4 days is getting old. Maybe the guys who created Otter Box will come up with a fix for this problem in the very near future. Besides that (big problem) it is a great case.

Summary: Best there is, but could use improvement.
Comment: Good:
High level of protection.
Water resistant.
Adds a nice comfy feel to the otherwise small, delicate feel of the iPhone.
Doesn't affect sound or voice quality.
All of the push buttons work very well.
Looks nice.
Needs improvement:
Very easy to fall out of holster.
Somewhat difficult to turn it off of vibrate.
Hard to get "bubbles" out of screen protector.
Some aftermarket chargers (Griffin coiled) will not fit or are very tight.
Some audio jack plugs will not fit.
If the phone is flat on it's back, it is not slide resistant.
Overall:
I really like the case, but would love it if the sliding out of the holster problem would be fixed.
