I had imagined that I could carry them in a coat pocket and easily slip them on when encountering ice. But the things are way too hard to get on, and they come off when walking through snow. This product has proven completely worthless to me. Others may have had better luck with this item. Perhaps my experience is with a product of poor quality control from China, combined with lack if incoming quality control by the importer.
