Scranton’s most outrageous workforce is back to give their clients the business in the fifth hilarious season of The Office. Join obnoxious regional manager Michael Scott (Steve Carell) and his fellow paper pushers Dwight (Rainn Wilson), Jim (John Krasinski), Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Ryan (B.J. Novak) as they steal customers, frame co-workers, indulge in intra-office love affairs and just plain behave badly while a documentary film crew captures their every word and misdeed. Developed for American television by Primetime Emmy® Award-winner Greg Daniels, The Office: Season Five features 26 uproarious episodes – including two one-hour specials, exclusive commentaries, webisodes, deleted scenes and more in a sidesplitting five-disc collection no true fan of The Office can afford to miss!

Customer Rating: Summary: it's the office- it's amazing! Comment: the commentary isn't as good so far...but we'll see. i honestly just don't care what kind of omelets the actors eat every morning.
Customer Rating: Summary: Another fantastic Office season! Comment: The writers and actors of The Office have outdone themselves again with Season 5. Not only are there more episodes than ever, they are all brilliantly written and delivered. The Holly plotline lets us glimpse another facet of Michael Scott, and we see him mature and even find his perfect match (we want Amy Ryan back!). I was extremely impressed by Steve Carell's acting in this season, and I have found that he is just as good with dramatic acting as he is with comedy, particularly when it involved Holly.
And of course, the Jim and Pam storyline was handled very well (much to the glee of JAM fans) and the season was jam packed (no pun intended) with monumental events (engagement! wedding plans! pregnancy!). Yet, it was all realistic and did not seem drawn out or soap opera-ish. It is so refreshing to see events played out as if it was real life. The writers do not draw out the drama just to keep the viewers; instead, they continue the plot as it would naturally happen. (i.e. Jim and Pam fall in love and get engaged, no more angst!)
The DVD itself is fantastic, with 5 discs and an amazing amount of deleted scenes. The blooper reel is always my personal favorite, and this year's is hilarious (although not quite as long as season 4's bloopers). And I thought it was a pretty decent price (when it was discounted) for 5 discs!
Customer Rating: Summary: good season/ not so good product Comment: I really love this season. But, the discs were not secured in the set. I opened the fold cover and a whole section of the plastic that holds the discs in fell out. I am going to re-glue it in and keep the product.
Customer Rating: Summary: Hilariously good. Comment: The Office is now one of my favourite shows. As each season comes along, it just gets funnier and funnier. It's full of very weird - but very likeable characters. Season 5 is the best so far. The special features are a bonus. A bargain for anyone who likes to laugh. The Office - Season Five
Customer Rating: Summary: World's best show. Period. Comment: Read the review title. Buy the DVD's.
