Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Decent when they work Comment: I picked these up to highlight some of my Halloween decorations in the yard. I didn't expect them to be very bright but they filled my needs very well.....when they work. They were fine the first night. Second night, nothing. I thought that maybe the batteries were bad and replaced them and it still didn't work. Then I put the original researchable batteries back in and they come on. Who knows? I had them up for about 20 days and I would say they didn't work maybe 4 or 5 days. So like I said, decent when they work. Customer Rating: Summary: Very satisfied - Comment: At this low price I am happy to have some light in my backyard. I need to install one more set for the other side of my yard. Customer Rating: Summary: Junk Comment: I bought a set of these with a set of Malibu lights and a set from Heartland America. The Heartland America's were broken when I opened the box, so I can't judge them. The Mailibu lights each have long single cords that plug into the sensor. If one cord fails, the other lights work. The Moonrays are strung along a single tiny cord, about 3-5' between each light. When the cord fails, as it soon will, it's all trash. There is no way to attach these to a solid surface, and can only be stuck into the ground. They also don't answer to customer "service". I live in a rural area. It's cheaper to throw this out than send it back. Customer Rating: Summary: This is a great solar spotlight Comment: I wanted an inexpensive spotlight for upcoming Halloween yard haunt features. These solar lights are perfect to accent tombstones in my yard without running extra cords. They last until after midnight and would be great in any garden or patio. Expensive lights may be brighter, but these are very good and I not only recommend them, but plan to buy two more sets this week.
