Summary: Didn't work at ALL for me
Comment: I started with the "Rat Zapper" because, if I was going to kill the mice, I liked the idea of it being faster and less painful than poison or conventional traps. It worked, but by the third mouse I started feeling guilty. (Yes they're dirty / destructive little creatures, but they're also cute and I just don't like killing things if there is a reasonable alternative.)
So, I reluctantly decided to try the "rodent repeller." (I've read mixed reviews on these "ultrasonic repellers," so I had my doubts.) Since I had some doubts, I knew I needed a way to test if it was actually chasing the mice away. I bought an "Eaton mouse trap" (the one that lets you "catch" and "release" the mice) for this purpose. ...If there were no mice in the trap, I could reasonably assume the "repeller" was doing its job.
I put the Eaton "catch and release" trap on the ground, pointed a "repeller" at it, and over the past 4 days I have "caught and released" a total of 6 mice. In other words, either the mice in my neck of the woods are wearing ear plugs, or this thing just doesn't bother them much at all. I'm sending the (3) repellers back. ...and if I end up catching another 6 or more mice, I think I'm going to have to invest in a more natural solution. (A cat.)

Comment: We had a mice infestation in our newly renovated appartment. After purchasing these devices, all mice are gone from the first day we installed them. It's been couple of months already and no trace of mice. It is a great device and I would recommend it to anyone who has mice problem

Summary: Rat went nuts
Comment: I plugged the three in around the area where my rat is nesting (in the wall behind the dishwasher). The next morning he had taken stuffing he had procurred earlier from an upholstered chair and stuffed it in the openings around the dishwasher. We presumed he is trying to cut out the sound. I removed the stuffing and the next night the same thing. The sound must be making him crazy - unfortunately he can't get out; we think he came in with an old upholstered chair I had put outside for a few hours.

Repels Rodents, Rats and MiceUltrasound is a great alternative to traps and poisons... which only address the problem temporarily and is a short term solution. While the electronic rodent repellers is not a magic bullet, when placed strategically and instructions are followed to reduce existing infestations, one can drive out newcomers from wanting to take up residency in your home, garage, trailer, etc. I learned about this product by searching for Green Pest Control and found them through membership of the US Green Building Council.
I had a mouse infestation in our garage. Its was also important to understand how ultrasound works on the rats and mice. Trapping success actually increased (we were able to humanely trap more rodents) once we put the units in... contrary to what was expected. I learned from Innovative that this is because the electronic rodent repeller causes the rat or mouse a great deal of stress, and therefore they are not as trap-wise. Makes sense. After trapping out some of the rodents, the other just left. And with the units in place we have no more infestation.
The 3 Pack is a great deal as for me it was good to have 3 units ...
