Summary: Very good headset
Comment: Upgraded to this headset from the Jawbone 2. I use this headset for work and have it on all day. With the old jawbones the voice quality became very bad when the headset was not touching your face. They have fixed this issue with this phone. The number of people reporting that they can "barely hear me" or I sound like I'm "in a tunnel" has decreased significantly. Excellent headset, would strongly recommend for bluetooth power users

Summary: I debated and debated, then bought the Jawbone Prime and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!
Comment: I am on the phone constantly through out the day. I work at home and love to walk around my yard while talking on the phone, however when the wind blows or my dogs bark I have to go inside so the person I am talking to doesn't have an unpleasant experience. I've never used a bluetooth device before, because, A. I thought they looked ridiculous and B. I can always tell when someone is using one because the call quality is horrible! What made me consider a bluetooth is the fact that while walking around for hours holding the phone to my ear my neck started hurting. I figured I would get a bluetooth headset and at least while I'm at home I could wear it around and it help prevent the neck, shoulder and upper back pain associated with holding a phone to me ear all day. I research things for a living and I began my search for the perfect bluetooth headset. I have friends that swore by one headset or another, but when I found the Jawbone Prime I got very excited. It didn't look obnoxious. I was very curious if it really blocked wind and outside noise, because if it did it would be an added bonus. I called several friends and asked them to talk to me either while they walked around a noisy area or to call me from the car with their windows down. None of them had the Jawbone and after hearing wind and noise from my friends who helped me conduct my experiment, I figured I had nothing to lose by trying the Jawbone. I couldn't be happier! I have a sunroof in my car and the first call I made on it was to one of my friends that I conducted the experiment with to ask if they could hear the noise and they couldn't!
So if you are a person who works at home or just someone that likes to walk around or pace while on the phone and suffers from neck pain while doing so, the Jawbone is for you!
If you are a person that doesn't want 14 blue blinking lights coming out of your ear on an obnoxious bluetooth headset, then the Jawbone is for you! It has one tiny tiny light that blinks every few seconds, but in the daylight you can't see it and you can turn it off.
If you like to walk your dog or any type of outside activity or you work at home and want to enjoy part of your work day outside, but still need to sound professional on the phone, i.e., no wind noise, no dogs barking etc., then the Jawbone is for you.
Love it! Recommend it! Buy it and you will agree!!!!

Summary: Jawbone Prime Great Headset when it works
Comment: This is a great product. The sound quality is really good for both the call received and the party on the other line. The problem is that I keep losing communication with my AT&T Tilt, event after I upgraded the OS to Windows Mobile 6.1 It works most of the time, but it is irritating to try and answer a call with your new headset, and not be able to do it.

Summary: My 2nd "prime" works Great!
Comment: I owned the Jawbone 2 and only due to the fact that jawbone came out with a new version "Prime" and [...] had a 1 day sale on the "Prime" (got it for $68 shipped) did I decide to upgrade. My Jawbone 2 had no problems whatsoever.
My first Jawbone Prime was horrible. Anyone I talked to said all they could hear was feedback and it sounded like I was talking through a sock or something. (Why we all know what talking through a sock sounds like, I don't know). I assumed this first one was defective, which it was.
I took that one back to my local Verizon Wireless and without hesitation, they exchanged it. I got the brand new one, charged it, paired it and it's worked wonderfully since. No on I have talked to has had a complaint.
The Prime comes with some new ear pieces that keep you from having to use the over the ear loop. Initially, I thought this would be wonderful, but apparently my ear (skin) produces just enough oil to keep it slipping out of my ear. So I went back to the ear loop method. I only wish the Jawbone Prime would come with more ear loops as I have had issues with breaking the ear loops, the prime only comes with 1 ear loop.
Another note is that I've attempted to use this in my right ear and it will not stay in there for the life of me, however, it pretty much locks in place when placed in my left ear. My ears are apparently shaped differently.
Overall, If you don't own a Jawbone and you choose to get the "Prime" and you're able to get it to fit properly you will have no disappointments. If the people you talk to get a lot of feedback or say it sounds like your talking through a sock, take it back. If you get one that works the way it's supposed to, it's insanely great and you'll be completely happy.
Proper fit, lack of extra ear loops and the fact that I had to take my first one back because it was defective is what makes me rate it 4 stars. Overall right now, I'm perfectly happy with it, until my ear loop breaks.
