Water just beads up on what you treat it with. Customer Rating: Summary: Easy To Use and Works As Advertised Comment: I was extremely satisfied with the ease of use and end result of this product. Per the directions, I washed the convertible top well, let it dry completely, and applied the 303 in bright sunlight on a hot day. It took aprox. 8 hours to dry (directions say 4-72, depending on humidity, etc). Once dried, the top looked great, and when it rained a couple of weeks later, the rain beaded up and rolled right off. For the sail-cloth top on my car, it works great, looks great, and was easy to use by following the clear, easy to understand instructions on the bottle. Customer Rating: Summary: 303 High Tech success Comment: For what it is supposed to do, the 303 High Tech Fabric Guard is absolutely the best product I have ever purchased and used. In the past, I have used products for water proofing on my bimini top from Bass pro Shops and West Marine which I would rate as adequate. The 303 forms a film and when I literally poured a bucket of water on it, the water beaded up and ran off like it was being poured onto wax paper. I am extremely selective on what gets used on my boat and will never use any other product for my bimini top or back cover. I have recommended the 303 to family and friends and am confident they will be as satisfied as I was. A fabulous product!!! Customer Rating: Summary: Great stuff Comment: Applied this on my 2006 convertible beetle. The top absorbed water and would get soaked. After applying 303 the water beads off the top and does not absorb water. I am not sure how long it will last but so far so good. I would highly recommend this product.
