Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: I need the drivers...but the cable works Comment: The cable worked for charging my Samsung A167 BUT I haven't been able to see the data in the phone :S so if anyone knows how, please let me know. Customer Rating: Summary: Samsung Sync Cable Comment: The sync cable worked great for charging the phone (Samsung Alias 2) with pentium 4 and better pc's using USB 2.0. It does allow the use of Verizon Rhapsody, but so far cannot sync email (a fault of the phone not the cable). I did not use the driver from the cd, I downloaded it from the web to make certain I had the latest one. Customer Rating: Summary: Works okay but.............. Comment: The Samsung part number I did the search for listed this item as a charging and sync cable. The seller did not mention charging. The unit works fine for syncing but will not charge on older PCs. It does both on Dell XPS laptop and Studio XPS 435T but will not charge on my two year old Optiplex PC at work (either the front ports or the back). So if you are looking a sync cable you can't go wrong.
