Customer Rating: Summary: not even one star - does not work with pre I say! Comment: RE: this penny cable working with the PRE... I disagree..... I am running Windows 7 and not sure if that factors, but this cable pretty much drives windows plug n play USB bat $h1t. Ding doing doing ding, ding doing doing ding...... did not show up in sys tray for ejecting so I unplugged... plugged back in and this time it asked if I wanted to charge, sync etc.... (sometimes it asks other times no.....) so I say lets trys USB drive.... so it finds it and windows 7 says this drive looks like it has corrupt files, you want me to scan and fix it? So I ask you, is your pre worth more than a penny for a cheap ass cable? How much time have you put into tweaking your pre just the way you want it? I think palm has a point about 3rd party cables. Run away from this cheap sillyness.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works for me Comment: Picked this up for additional charging locations (work, on the go, etc.) and works great.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works as Advertised Comment: The cable works just as well as the Sprint USB cable that came with my phone.
Customer Rating: Summary: seller sent the wrong item Comment: I ordered this cable, which was advertised as a cable for the palm pre, with a picture attached. The picture was of a micro USB cable. What was sent to me was a "mini" usb cable, which does not work with the palm pre.
I have contacted the seller, we will see what they will do, until then, buyer beware.
Customer Rating: Summary: Short Cable Comment: The cable works fine with some minor issues. The connector that goes into the Pre is bulky and has to be adjusted once in a while to get a good connection for charging. This may be the phones design as the original cord from palm has the same issue with the connector to the Pre.
