It was shipped in a timely manner. It took a few charges before I was able to notice any increase. It's not going to give you hours and hours of extended battery life. I noticed a difference after the first charging of the battery. My Palm Pre did not have enough battery power to last a whole day, now It last all day with some left over. Customer Rating: Summary: No better than OEM battery Comment: I would have no qualms if this was just sold as a spare battery for the pre, but selling it as "extended life" borders on misrepresentation. I am a heavy user, so I bought this battery and the desktop charger. This way I can charge the phone and spare battery at the same time. When I leave in the morning I have one battery in my phone and the other in my briefcase. By noon I'm swapping batteries because one is dead. I didn't see any difference between OEM and this battery, if anything this seems to die sooner (10:30- 11 a.m. ) when OEM would usually take me to noon with my usage (lots of calls, MP3). The reports on this battery said it got better with repeated usage after 5 days or so, I was very hopeful and kept waiting for the improvement and didn't see it. If you're looking for something to truly extend your battery life noticably longer, I think based on the Pre posts online we'll need to spend about $60 which is what I"m doing now. Very disappointed that I got this one first.
