Editorial Reviews:

Many things have gone missing in this world: Amelia Earhart, D.B. Cooper, the Olmec civilization, Jeff Tremaine's waistline, even the whole continent of Atlantis. Most important and culturally relevant, though, is a big mess of Jackass segments that had apparently slipped through a crack in Mianus and never found a home on any of the DVD releases for the classic MTV television series. The “Self Defense Test,” “Stun Collar,” “Unicycle Poo Barf,” “Fast Food Football,” “Roller Jump,” and “Satan vs. God” (in its original long ass-kicking form!) are just some of the absurd gold that what was once lost but now is found, not to mention all the original show opens, credit montages, and a bunch of other bonus footage that was never shown on television—or wasn’t allowed to be shown—featuring Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Preston Lacy, Wee-Man, Danger Ehren, and Dave England in their earliest years of basic cable fame and notoriety.

Summary: Ranks up with Jackass 1 and 2
Comment: This movie was so great, it was even longer than one and two. It offered so much, the extra content on the menu was great too. Really funny skits in this one. BUY THIS!

Summary: good value
Comment: If people would take the time to read descriptions they would know that this is not "totally unseen footage." What we have here is a collection of segments that were never released on DVD, plain and simple. There were many reviewers of the Jackass box set that were unhappy that some bits were left off....well here they are.

Summary: Absolute ripoff.
Comment: Knoxville and crew really had one over on us this time.

You may think that this is two hours' worth of previously unseen "Jackass" material.... WRONG. This is nothing more than just another compilation of stuff from the TV show, almost like a "Volume 4" to go along with the boxed set. There is very, very little unseen footage in here.

While I did not purchase this on Amazon, I will consider returning it to the store I bought it from and claiming false advertising. This DVD is garbage.

Summary: Should have been on the boxed set
Comment: Luckily my local retailer shelved this item a week early so I already have it.

The stunts and clips on this are really some of the best the show had to offer and it was nothing short of tragic that they were left off of the boxed set. I am of the opinion that the boxed set was really poorly done in that it should have been episodic rather than just 3 conglomerations of edited down stunts and skits.

That being said I am really glad that some of these gems are finally on DVD. The original "Satan vs. God" is presented in all its uncensored (read unbleeped) glory. Knoxville breaking his ankle trying to jump the "LA river" on rollerskates is included and uncensored. "Self Defense Test" "Milk Challenge". All are slices of fried gold. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars from me is that this material should have been released on the boxed set.

Bottom line is if you are a fan This is an absolute MUST have to complete the series.
